Lumen / Lighting software for DJs

Automatic
lighting control.

Lumen uses incoming audio to coordinate your lights’
colors, intensity and movement as the music plays.

Run a light show
without programming it.

Lumen is for DJs and small event organizers who want lighting that responds to music without manually programming each effect or hiring a dedicated lighting operator.

Our goal is to automate lighting changes while letting you choose colors, adjust intensity and take manual control.

Recreate your lighting
setup in 3D.

Recreate the space in 3D. Place your truss and fixtures where they are in the room, then match each light’s mode and DMX address.

Lumen uses fixture capabilities and positions to determine which effects each light can perform and where moving heads can point.

Connect your DJ software,
speakers and lights.

The proposed workflow routes DJ software audio through Lumen to your audio output device. Lighting commands travel separately through a supported USB-to-DMX interface to your fixtures.

Lighting changes with
the incoming audio.

Lumen analyzes the audio currently playing. Changes in rhythm and energy inform fixture movement, colors, intensity and effect timing.

You do not need to describe every effect or manually trigger each lighting change. Automatic show quality is still being tested.

Quieter sections

Slower fixture movement and lower intensity.

Buildups

Increasing movement and intensity as the audio builds.

Drops

Coordinated changes in intensity, color and movement when the drop is detected.

Illustrative behavior. The stage demo above is pre-authored; autonomous show quality is still being validated.

Use automatic lighting
or create presets manually.

Choose how much Lumen controls. Use automatic playback, adjust its settings, or program and trigger your own presets.

Intensity

Raise or lower the lighting intensity during playback without changing the selected colors or movement pattern.

Restriction zones

Mark areas in the 3D room to exclude from beam targeting. Use these zones to define where moving lights should not be aimed.

Manual presets

Choose fixtures, set their colors, positions, intensity and effects, then save the result as a preset. Trigger your saved presets yourself instead of using automatic generation.

Colors and effects

Select a color palette, limit which effects can run, and disable strobes when you don’t want them used.

Playback speed and overrides

Increase or decrease preset speed, hold an energy level, or manually change the look while the show is playing.

Live triggers

Use keybinds for temporary effects. Trigger a white hit, use a blinder, or activate blackout without creating a separate preset for each action.

Desktop controls described above are part of Lumen’s beta and development scope. This website demo supports color changes only.

Change the colors in the stage demo.

Multicolor selected. Movement, intensity and timing are unchanged.

The current input is incoming audio. Pro DJ Link integration is planned for future development.

Rig building, animated programs and playback are in the beta. Hardware output and automatic show quality are still being tested.
